Learning what matters in the anthropocene
Families
At Green Steps we believe that repeated exposure to the outdoor environment is crucial for the balanced development of a person, in particular during the early stages of our life. For that reason, we organize regular events all year round and have developed an ongoing journey of Nature discovery starting from the age of 1.5 years.

We support schools and municipalities in developing place-based learning formats that provide information about the hometown and bioregion in a playful way.
Repeated exploration of nature strengthens the community, creates a sense of responsibility, and fosters a new understanding of what and where home is.

For Nature Guides
We empower adults to guide children into a sound 21st century adulthood. Acquire the self-confidence to observe, understand and respond to children’s needs. Our training is set against the spreading helplessness which many experience in an increasingly complex world, a helplessness, which forces us to hand over the fate of our most beloved ones to institutions which serve their own, but not our children’s interests.
Our online training can be accessed by anybody from anywhere. Get in touch with our local offices if you want to participate in a personalized training.

For Students
We offer to high school and undergraduate students a 70-100 hours curriculum, which certifies that they have obtained the required credits of community work needed to qualifiy for foreign high schools and universities. It is possible for students of suitable programs (environmental sciences, sustainable tourism managment, child psychology) to accredit this applied coursework with their universities.

For Learning communities
Gaining empathy for the environment often starts with taking over stewardship for your own land and community. Implement our activities in your local eco system. Learn to design your own activities and add them to our growing curriculum.
